

Dr. Lucy Hsu
Centre Director & Educational Psychologist

Dr. Lucy Hsu is a registered educational psychologist in Hong Kong. She previously served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Hong Kong and as Director of the Doctor of Educational Psychology program. Dr. Hsu also served as Director at the university’s Child Language and Learning Research Centre, where she focused her research on bilingual development, language disorders, and dyslexia in children. She has published numerous academic papers on child language development in international journals.
Dr. Hsu has extensive experience providing educational psychology services to kindergarten and primary school students. She has also provided early childhood rehabilitation services for local social welfare organizations over the years. In addition to assessments and consultations, she regularly conducts professional training workshops and parent seminars for the Social Welfare Department, kindergartens, and primary schools.
Since 2016, Dr. Hsu has been practicing mindfulness and completed the one-year Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy teacher training jointly offered by the Oxford Mindfulness Centre and the Hong Kong Centre for Mindfulness. She is also certified in the UK’s MiSP, dots, paws b and .b mindfulness programs for schools, and has completed the MYMind programs from the University of Amsterdam for ASD/ADHD, as well as Mindful Parenting and Mindful with your baby/toddler. Currently, she serves as a volunteer instructor for the Jockey Club “Well-being in School” Mindfulness Cultural Initiative, helping to teach .b foundational mindfulness and mindful parenting programs.
Dr. Hsu regularly leads mindfulness workshops for primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, actively promoting mental health and mindfulness education.
