Ms. Venus Sar

Venus is a qualified speech therapist with specialized training and certification in both assessment and intervention for speech and oral motor development. She is an eligible user of several key Cantonese-language assessment tools, including the Hong Kong Cantonese Articulation Test (HKCAT), the Hong Kong Cantonese Oral Language Assessment Scale (HKCOLAS), the Hong Kong Graded Character Naming Test (HKGCNT), and the Hong Kong Test of Preschool Oral Language (TOPOL). She is also a certified provider of Beckman Oral Motor Intervention, PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), and TalkTools® Oral Placement Therapy.

Venus holds a Master of Social Sciences in Psychology of Education from City University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Hong Kong. Her diverse clinical experience spans district-based speech therapy teams (DSTT), early education and training centers (EETC), special child care centers (SCCC), and the Training Subsidy Programme (TSP) for children awaiting pre-school rehabilitation services. She also serves as an honorary clinical supervisor for students from CUHK, EdUHK, HKU, and PolyU, and currently practices in a private clinic setting.
